DRV3201-Q1 VS recommended operating range and VS under voltage

Hello,

Please answer following question from customer.

Q1:

Performance such as gate driver unit has been guaranteed by VS = 4.75V to 30V, and under voltage shutdown level(V VSUV)” is 4.5V to 4.75V.

Has DRV3201 been designed it can operate normally until occurrence of under voltage shutdown? (Does DRV3201 operate normally between 4.75V and V VSUV?)

Q2:

Please advise the purpose of under voltage shutdown.

For example, internal analog circuit(Gate-Driver, Current Sense Amp, Phase comparator…) may not work correctly while VS voltage is below 4.75V, so it need to stop (Pull-down) the Gate-Driver output.

Best Regards.
