INA213AQDCKRQ1 PPAP and Datasheet Questions

Hello,

One of my customers has the following questions about the INA213A-Q1.

  1. Is the 26V limit on this part transient or steady state?  A123 said their testing indicates that it is steady state, and the chip is capable of more
  2. Are there potential failure modes you could identify?
  3. Can you supply me with the PPAP document for this device?

Thanks,

Andrew

  • Hi Andrew,

    1) the datasheet should be read as DC or steady state and transient. In other words no transients should go above it and DC and steady state should be below it.  We have no way of de-rating or considering the impact of transients over the lifetime of the device.

    2) DFMEA will should be part of the PPAP.

    3) PPAP may be requested via QTS.  I will e-mail you a PPT seperately with instructions on how to do this as soon as I get it from marketing since this is on the external forum.
