about TPA3110D2-Q1 characteristics

Dear all,

My customer want to drive the following three types of speaker by TPA3110D2-Q1.

【Three speakers】 *One IC drive one type of speaker. 
・10W、16Ω x2

・12.5W、4Ω x2 

・5W、4Ω x1

【Questions】

1. How much does this device can drive output power at 16Ω speaker? (??W@12V,16Ω,10%THD)

 If possible, I want typical characteristics graph about 「Resistance vs Output Power 」.

2. I want to know about output power at various supply voltage.

 I want to know about output power at 8V/10.6V supply voltage@16Ω/8Ω/4Ω.

 If possible, I want typical characteristsics graph about 「Supply voltage vs OutputPower」.

3. If I use this device under 0.6W output, is there concern about this?

 (Can this device output? Is efficiency down?)

4. I would like to know about concern to use same IC for three types of speakers.

 (Can TPA3110D2-Q1 drive three types of speaker in the first place?)

    1. With only 12Vin you may not get 10W output (achieve closer to 5W). You would need to increase the input voltage to do so. We do not have a graph for this.

    2. Datasheet graphs Figure 17 and 18 should answer your questsions. We do not have a graph for 16Ohm

    3. Yes device will work, however efficiency will be much lower see Figure 19 for more information.

    4.Yes, this device can drive different types of speakers, however extra design considerations need to be made especially at higher speaker impedances.
