Hello,

Please answer following question from customer.

 

Q1:Vout behavior

Please advise Vout behavior when Vin is lower than Vout setting.

For example Vout setting is 5V and Vin is 4V.

 

Q2:Rds(on)

Datasheet explains Rds(on) is 500m ohm max at Iload=500mA on page 4.

Please supply data which explain the on-resistance variation with respect to the load current.

    Vout is tracking VIN and is explained in datasheet SLVS996C page 9, graph figure 9.
    The Rds(on) is not changing with current. It is changing with temperature. In production test 500mA is applied and voltage drop across the transistor is measured so Rds(on) = (VIN - Vph)/500mA
