TPS76733-Q1 /RESET external component

My customer has questions about TPS76733-Q1.
Could you tell me about questions?

Please show attached file.

- How much is recommended value /RESET resistor? My customer want to use 10kohm. He want to know min and max value.

- /RESET output input to DSP. So my customer have to use bypass capacitor /RESET to GND. He is thinking, when internal FET is ON, bypass capacitor is short and conduct short current. He want to know maximum current of internal FET and Rds(on).

Hi Tateo,

1. Please refer to datasheet page 17, the recommended value is 250K ohm. In another TI reference design, www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00078, 100K ohm is also been used.
2. Please refer to datasheet page 8, parameter Reset section. The pull down current is about 1mA, and we can roughly estimate the Rds(on)=0.4V/1mA=400 ohm.
