Storage/Firing Capacitor for a Squib (TPIC71002-Q1)

I'm working with the TPIC71002-Q1 (dual channel squib driver IC) and the datasheet references a Storage Capacitor connected to the VZx pins (pins 22 and 27). Is this a true capacitor or just a reference to the power supply that provides the VZx pins with the voltage for the squib loops? If the VZx pins do require a storage cap in addition to the power supply line to operate, could someone recommend a suitable capacitor value? I've attached a picture from the datasheet below for quick reference. I'm pretty new to working with squibs so any advice would be appreciated.

The storage capacitor is otherwise called as the Energy reserve. This capacitor is normally available on the Airbag Control Unit to supply the voltage for the squib drivers. For your tests, if you have a good voltage supply that can deliver the deployment currents for the intended deployment time and the squib resistance you want to use , you can avoid this storage capacitor.

Thanks for the quick response! Do you happen to know a typical value for that energy reserve cap? I'm using a battery for my tests, so I would like to give it a little extra help. Thanks!

For deploying TPIC71002 device alone i.e. 2 drivers deployed simultaneously for 1.75A,0.7ms setting, then you probably would need a capacitor in the order of 3-4mF.
