Hi,

TPS7B6701-Q1 has 12 NC terminals.

Is there the terminal connected to the internal circuit in these pin ?

I need this information to consider the short mode between terminals.

There is no connection between the NC pin and internal circuit.

Hi,

I understood there is no connection between the NC pin and internal circuit.
Does it mean it is possible to connect NC pin to Vin(40V) or GND?
I believe it is no ploblem but would like to confirm just in case.

My customer is considering FMEA(failure mode effect analysis) for this device.

Hi Yaita-san,

Yes, NC pin is able to connected to VIN or GND.
Just be careful to avoid shorting the VIN or VOUT to GND directly.
