Hello,

I have samples I am trying to test for TPS40210SHKK. I dont see any dent, bump, notch or mark on the top to indicate pin 1. This is the high temp. TPS40210-HT and part number is TPS40210SHKK. There are letters 'THA' on one side and '1104A' on the other side. Can you let me know which coincides with Pin 1?

Regards,

Yashas

    Hi Yashas,

The pin 1 indicator from the factory is on the lead and cut off at trim. Aside from symbol orientation and symbolized pin 1 dot there is no way to tell where pin 1 is. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Alright,

I thought it was alongside the 'THA' letters because it made sense based on the orientation of letters but just wanted to confirm. Thanks for the quick reply.

    Regards,

    Yashas

Pin 1 is referenced in the datasheet on page 11, and is denoted by circle in corner of package top view.

That is fine, but my question was regarding the actual part which does not have any markings.

    Yashas,

Since nearly the entire top of device is covered by lid, the pin one indicator must be symbolized on the top vs being part of the package.

If your question is answered, please mark verified.

    Regards,

    Wade
