    Hello,

I am modeling the CDC2351MDREP output driver.  Do you have an IBIS model?  Since there wasn’t one listed on the parts website, I looked for a similar device to use instead.  Would you please confirm the similarity (or lack thereof) between the CDC351 and the CDC2351MDREP?  The CDC351 IBIS model lists the following parameters:

    Device

    CCOMP

    RPIN

    LPIN

    CPIN

    ZOUT

    CDC351

    6.0E-12

    4.3E-02

    1.3E-09

    7.8E-14

    14.5

    CDC351

    6.0E-12

    3.8E-02

    1.1E-09

    6.8E-14

    13.4

    CDC351

    6.0E-12

    4.8E-02

    1.5E-09

    9.5E-14

    15.7

Can someone shed some insight into the disparity?

    Thanks!

    Jamaal,

There is not an IBIS model for the CDC2351.  However,  I was able to locate information on similar IBIS model

The CDC351  is similar to the CDC2351but does not have the internal 22Ohm damping resistors.

So using a CDC351 IBIS model and an 22Ohm damping resistor added to output of the CDC351 it will be similar to a CDC2351.

     Regards,

    Wade

    Thanks Wade!

Sorry to ask this, but can you tell me how much variation is there in the 22 Ohm resisitor?  Is the output impedance as seen through each buffered output 22 Ohms or 26 Ohms or 36 Ohms?
