storage shelf life

hi

i need to buy with minimum lead time inverters SN74HCT04PWR,

i managed to find a supplier with very short lead time but with old date code : DC 14.09.2010.

is there any specification for warranty that recommended for storage life?

 and does the component would function properly after 3 years in storage and then assembled?
