TSW 1250 GUI Labview code

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS5294

Hi,

How could I have the labview code of the TSW 1250 GUI?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards

  • Hello,

I would like to extract the data I acquire with the TSW1250 and to send this data to another computer in live.

Can I do it with the TSW1250 GUI or should I programm another Labview GUI in order to do that?

    Thanks in advance,

    Best regards

  • Hello,

I am using the ADS5294 with the TSW1250, I would like to know if it is suitable for measuring DC Voltage.

Indeed, whatever DC Voltage i put into the channels of the ADS5294, I always get the same results (see attached picture, 1V DC is sent to channel1). How can that be explained? I do not have experience with this boards so I do not understand waht is going on when i try to get some results. Can you help me pls?

    Thanks in advance,

    Best regards

  • Hi,

The ADS5294 EVM's default configuration is to drive the analog inputs through back to back transformers followed by an AC coupled input.  These components cannot pass a DC signal so I'm curious to know how you have modified the EVM to drive a 1V DC voltage and around what common mode voltage are you providing this DC?  Figure 57 of the datasheet shows the input is DC coupled so as long as the differential input signals are centered around a VCM of 0.95V, the ADC will sample the signal regardless of whether it is AC or DC.

    Thanks
