Hi, I'm trying to communicate Visual C++ with FTDI and then get the data into my verilog code.

I'm using MPSSE ports (A and B), but both CS pins (ADBUS3 and BDBUS3) are given values 2.4V for Low and 3,3 for High. To test it in scope is working fine(because I'm choosing the trigger threshold), but when I try to get the data in my verilog code it just see CS as High logic.

If I disconnect usb cable the CS goes to 0V.

Could somebody provide me any tips to solve it?

Danilo,

What firmware is loaded into the FPGA when you are doing this? To me it looks like the fimrware may be holding these signals high. To test this, do not load the firmware after you power up the TSW1400. These pins should be tri-stated. Then monitor the level of the signals when you are operating the FTDI with your Visual C++ code. If the signals still do not go lower than 2.4V, the problem is the way you are controlling the FTDI device.

Hi Jim, thanks,

The problem was in my c++ code, I was not putting CS in low voltage, I just let it in high impedance and then this 2.4V come up.

Now I finished the FPGA code to control a emission board (delays, pulse coding, frequency, PRF...) using CMOS connector. I will need to receive data from 8ch simultaneously using AFE5805 and store it in DDR memory (1GB). Is possible to me get the TSW1400 verilog code? Because otherwise I will need to program all the receive code again.
