16-bit octal ADC planned?

Does anyone know whether a 16-bit octal ADC is planned in the near future? We currently use the 14-bit ADS5294, so a drop-in 16-bit replacement for this would be ideal.

I'm forwardig your request to the Medical Products team - they may have plans for a new high speed 16 channel device.

Thanks Ken. 16 channels is overkill for us at the moment, but could be useful soon (running at 20MSps). A drop-in upgrade to 16 bits would be most useful at the moment.

Hi Tim,

Presently, there are no plans to develop a drop-in replacement octal 16-bit ADC. As Ken suggested, we will be releasing a 16 channel device in 2Q2015 but this device is also 14-bits. It seems that two ADS5263 quad 16-bit ADCs is the solution that we could presently offer.
