LM96530 -- Rx switch current

Hi All,

I have noticed that the SW_OFF pin on the LM96530 consumes a larger amount of current when pulled high and a much smaller amount when pulled low.  Should the SW_OFF pin be pulled high only when actively pinging?  Or should the pin be pulled high during the entire scan time (including pings and waiting for echo)?

Regards,

  • Hi Rob,

Can you quantify the current going into the SW_OFF pin? The SW_OFF pin should be high impedance (CMOS gate). When you pull SW_OFF to high, what is the voltage at the pin? It shouldn't be higher than VLL supply. Also make sure VSUB is the most negative voltage.

    Regards,
