Hi Gautam,
I was using the devise with out the firmware update and it was getting detected in the system(PC) and i was able to run the GUI code with this.
But in the pdf which i downloaded from TI website was saying that after the GUI software installation you should update the firmware (as told in the pdf attached page no.33). After this the devise is not getting detected in the PC nor in the GUI.
please can you give solution asap because i have a deadline close by.....

Hi All,
I am not able to solve this problem, can any one help me to solve this issue.
1. I installed the GUI software as specified in the user guide(AFE4403 Development Guide) page no. 7
2. Run the GUI software and collected the data as specified in user guide page no.28.
3. Then as specified in the page no.31 USB-Based Firmware Upgrade, i did this step.
4. After this step the GUI got restarted and from that point of time device AFE4403 is not getting detected in both my PC and in GUI.
It will be grate if some one can help me because i my stuck now, pleas help me.

Thanks Amy for reply..
The EVM is not getting detected in the COM port.
Did you lose connection to the board at any time when you updated the firmware?
No, i think after completion of it only i pressed the close button, but the probability is 5%percent that the firmware is not fully updated and i pressed close i that case what should i do?
Is there any way so that i can RESET the devise to older firmware?

Anup,
Unless you had erased the BSL which is highly unlikely, you should be able to enter BSL mode by pressing switch SW2 and inserting the USB cable simultaneously.
Section 7 of the User's Guide describes how to update the firmware without the GUI.
Hi Amy,
I tried the method you specified in above, but that is also not detecting the device to update the firmware.
I don't know what to do because its been 1 month i am not able to work on the device, i don't know what to do?
can any buddy help me come out of this problem.
