Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4490SPO2EVM

Dear all,

I am trying to use AFE4490spo2EVM GUI. In 1st attempt I was able install the EVM GUI. It was opening and detecting the Evaluation Module. But when I tried getting SPO2 measurements using the GUI, I was unable.

I running it aging after uninstalling and installing it. But ever since then I am getting this error:

I wasn't getting this error the 1st time and I was able to increase ans  decrease the LED brightness using the GUI.

If anybody has faced a similar issue please notify.

  • Salil,

We have received your post and hope to have a response back to you soon.

  • Amy,

I have been able to solve that problem.

I had deleted all the contents of the Texas Instruments and National Instruments folders in programs files before trying to install the GUI again. Except the .dll files, all other files in the National Instruments folder got deleted.

The problem was arising because while re installing the GUI, the installer wasn't rewriting the 'National Instruments' folder in Program files. As a result of this the LABview files weren't getting installed and were absent in the NI folder whenever I tried  to start it.

Could you please try to solve this issue.

    Thank You

  • Salil,

You get the error message "reading stopped without returning the expected number of samples. Please check the device and the inputs" when the EVM is not loaded with the correct firmware.
