spO2 & Heart rate from AFE4490 EVM

Hello,

I'm using AFE4490 EVM and need to get the spO2 level and heart rate from it. I'm currently using version 2.0 of the GUI. I have requested for the TI Healthhub app but it is taking a long time for it to get verified and I need to start working asap.

In the GUI of AFE440xSPO2 -FE EVM(i.e the, previous version), there was a tab "SP02&HR" to get the values that I need. But int he new version of the GUI, the tab is missing. And the old version is no longer available.

My problem can be solved in two ways:

1) Finding a way to find the sp02 and herat rate using the version 2.0 gui

2) Getting the AFE440xSPO2 -FE gui.

I would be really grateful if someone could find a solution to my problem.

Joshua,

We removed this from our GUI because it was inaccurate.

You may take your PPG data and do the calculation yourself if you would like.

We don't release previous versions of software, once we have a new version, the old one is obsolete.

Thanks for your response, could you tell me how to obtain and analyze the PPG data from the AFE EVM in Real Time to obtain the spO2 levels and heart rate. Right now I can only find an option to save the raw data to excel sheet.

You can get the data from our GUI in real time, then once you are finished collecting data, here is the equation you want to use.

Based on the Beer-Lambert Law:

R= (AC(Red)/DC(RED))/(AC(IR)/DC(IR))

SpO2=110-25R

Hello,

I'm using the equation to get the SpO2 (SpO2=110-25R) but I don't know from where the constant 110.
Someone knows the origin of this constant?
