Hello.

I made a pulse wave device using AFE4490.

I want to test the device using function generator before clinical trials.

So I connected wires on both side of PD and took PD off.

And I gave the sine wave into wires but I counldn't find the output signal.

So I want to know how can I compose the input part to see the output signal using function genertor.

Are you trying to do a transmissive or reflective measurement?

I try to do a reflective measurement.
Is there a differece in setting between refiective and transmissive?

I think sensor type isn't metter using signal generator.
PD just work to change optical signal to electrical signal, right?
So I connected the wire instead PD and input the electrical signal(sine wave).

But problem is I couldn't see sine wave in ouput.

It means I miss some things but I can't find it.
