Hi,

I am working on a project where I need to use two oximetry sensors using one AFE4490 chip. Only one sensor needs to run at a time.
I would be grateful if someone could suggest a connection/circuit for such application.

At the moment I am looking how it would be possible to use analog switch to switch between two photodiodes and mosfets for the Red and IR LEDs, but have not yet came with a good solution.

Our AFE4404 sensor board uses 2 sensors. You can use this as an example. Schematics can be found in the User's Guide. www.ti.com/.../slau621.pdf

This might not be what I was thinking. In the reference design you referred to, one needs to re-solder jumper resistors to use other sensor, however my goal would be to switch between the two sensors on the go.

That is true, you can use this design as a reference and change things as needed.
