CDCLVP111-SP: The mean of Differential output voltage swing

Part Number: CDCLVP111-SP

Hi,

My customer is using CDCLVP111-SP.
Could you let me know the mean of Differential output voltage swing, please?

In datasheet, it shows 350mV as min.
Which case of below does this mean?

Best regards,
Shimizu

  • Hi Shimizu

I believe the answer is Case 3 shown below.  The 350mV spec is actually 350mVpp-diff.  This is in line with Figure 4 which shows the minimum VOD to be 175mV-diff at 3.5GHz which is 350mVpp-diff.  To avoid confusion, I think this graph should be plotted with the same units as the spec - mVpp-diff. I will confirm with the apps engineer that supports this device who returns to the office on Tuesday.

    Regards,

    Christian

  • Hi Christian,

Thank you for your support at previous question.
I add a question about figure 4 in datasheet.

The characteristcs curve of Figure 4 is informaton at Vcc = 2.375V.
Is this characteristcs curve up or down by Vcc = 3.3V?
We want to know the trend of curve by Vcc.

We want to know your opinion as just reference.

    Best regards,
    Shimizu

  • Shimizu,

I agree with Christian's interpretation of the datasheet.Increasing VCC will increase output VOD.
