LM741: Input Resistance

Part Number: LM741

Test conditions in data-sheet suggests that TA =25°C,VS =±20V for input resistance to be ~2 MOhms. I need schematic of test-bench so that I can validate this on bench.

Hello Jay,
Can you tell use the exact part number of interest? Is the part in a plastic package or metal can?
This could make a difference on how the testing is done.

This is a 40+ year old part. We will need to do some investigation on whether we can find the schematic on how the bench characterization was done back then.

Jay,

Do you have access to a meter that can read in the nano-amp (1nA resolution) range?

Both inputs are NPN bases which act like current sources. As input difference voltage changes the balance of these current source shift to one side or other based on polarity of input difference.

Is there a reason to test this parameter?
