TVP5150AM1-EP: How to connect TVP5150AM1-EP to FPGA

Part Number: TVP5150AM1-EP

1.   I need to connect the Yout of TVP5150am1-ep with  FPGA. How should I connect? Is there any matching network or filter network between the two?

2.   What is the sample rate of the TVP5150AM1-EP?   I need to connect  input of TVP5150AM1-EP of a camara, whose input signal frequency is 40MHz. Is it possible to decode signal at so high frequency?

    Hey Wenle,

    1. Not knowing what the connections of the FPGA are I would assume you should be able to connect the datelines directly. Any network in-between the two would be unnecessary unless there is a worry about the signal integrity.

    2. The TVP5150AM1-EP supports these video formats: NTSC-M, PAL (B, G, H, I), or SECAM
    If your camera uses these video formats you should be okay. If you would like to share what type of camera you are using we can look into this matter more.
