MAX3232-EP: Line Driver vs Transciever Max3232

Hello;

Some datasheets mentioned RS232 driver and some datasheets mentioned RS232 Transceiver. What is the difference between these two?.

Can i Use Max3232 and Max3224 both in the same application. I have only 9.6kbps with 3.3V from host.
