UC1842A-EP: UC1843AMDREP thermal data

Hello Avi,

The part should have similar thermal characteristics as our not -EP version. That datasheet can be found at www.ti.com/.../uc1842a.pdf. If you look at the 8 pin SOIC package you will see Junction-to-case (top) thermal resistance of 46.8 C/W and junction-to-board thermal resistance of 45.3 C/W.

There may be some minor differences between this version and our -EP version. I will look into getting those numbers for a future datasheet update.
