DS16F95QML: SMD Version of DS16F95QML Spec/datasheet - verify that the SMD version can support RS-422

looking at a RS485/R422 transceiver (SMD: 5962F8961501VHA, DS16F95). The TI datasheet claims this part meets both RS485 and RS422A standards however, the SMD only describes it as RS485. Does the SMD still me the EIA/TIA-422A(orB) standards? Also, what’s the difference between 422A and 422B.
