ADS1258-EP: How long does the SPI interface reset last in ADS1258-EP?

I can not find in the ADS1258-EP datasheet how long the SPI interface reset last.

I would be very grateful if you could tell me the duration of this time.

Sorry for the delayed response.

The datasheet outlines several conditions that will cause the SPI interface to reset. The timing to make the reset happen is defined. Once the reset itself is invoked, the SPI registers take on the new values almost instantaneously.

What does "almost instantaneously" mean? less than 1 nsec? less than 1 usec? less than 1 msec?

"Instantaneous" is relative to the system speed. With this device, the maximum speed of the master clock is 16MHz (T=62.5ns) resulting in maximum speed of SCLK of 8MHz (125ns). Once the time required to invoke a register reset has expired, the registers should become reset well within the period of the master clock. In other words, the registers will be reset well before the next master clock edge.
