WEBENCH® Tools/TPS57140-EP: Can this part be used as an inverter?

The datasheet doesn't show this part to produce a negative output voltage, like some other datasheets show. This is the only part I have found so far that is rated to cold start at -54C.

Hello William,

This part does not support a negative output voltage. Can you detail the exact input voltage, output voltage, and output current you are looking for along with temperature range? I will see what we have to support your application.

Hello William,

Sorry for the delay. I would recommend taking a look at this application report (www.ti.com/.../slva458b.pdf). You can then use any DC-DC switching regulator with the input maximum greater than 28 - (-5) = 33V. It looks like the TPS40210-EP would suite your needs.
