what's the different between Nyquist 1 and Nyquist 2?

ADS58J64 datasheet page 63,Register 2Dh Field Descriptions bit1

  • Hello,

This register helps to calibrate the ADC input. Since the ADC is interleaved, the ADC channels sample on separate chips. Inherently, there will be gain and offset differences between the different channels. If you know what your sample rate and analog input frequency will be, you can determine what Nyquist zone you will be operating in (1 or 2). By setting this register appropriately, you will be able to reduce noise and signal artifacts.

    Regards,

    Dan
