ADS5294: About input impedance

Part Number: ADS5294

Hi,

I have a question about the input impedance of ADS5294.

I am considering using the ADS5294 with differential input.
I would like to make the load impedance seen from the fully differential amplifier 500 Ω by the characteristic of amplifier.
The input circuit is described in Figure 44. Analog Input Circuit Model of the ADS5294 datasheet.
There is a total 2 kΩ resistor between INP and INN, but is it possible to affect the ADS 5294 by inserting a resistor in parallel to make it 500 Ω?
Please let me know if there are concerns such as deterioration of the reference voltage accuracy.
Best regards,
Tomoaki Yoshida

  • Hello Yoshida-san,

Though we feel that inserting the resistor should be OK, we will still need to ensure that this does not affect the ADC performance.
