Does the output PPG data waveforms contain DC component? or there is only AC component of the signal.

i am trying to calculate the ration by using the formula

Therefore, i want to clarify that is there DC component existed in the output waveform of the AFE4490SPO2EVM GUI?

Yes , there will be DC component as well.

Hi Prabin,

Sorry for one more question.

Lets say, there are 500 samples per second generated for the IR and RED LED respectively. For the case, those 500 raw data values for IR LED, how can i get the value of AC component of IR since the AC component is the peak to peak of the PPG signal?

Hi Zhengtao,

Yes, in that case the AC component will be peak to peak of PPG signal.
