Part Number: TPIC84000-Q1
Hi,
We want to develop an electronic device using the TPIC84000-Q1 as LF 125 KHz emitter.
We already have design and build a PCB with this parts:
- USB/SPI Converter --> SPI --> TPIC84000
- Different output and match circuits in each antenna output for testing purposes.
We use it as below but we cant perform data emission at Out1.
This is our schematic snapshot:
For Vs we use a Lavolta DC-POWER-Supply BPS-305 with 30 V output voltage and 5A current (voltage depends on the Vpp configured in Gain1 for data transmission).
For 5V a regulator with 1.2 A output.
The clock is configured for 17.1776 Mhz, and exactly we get 17.2 Mhz
The SPI is configured with a clock of 100 Kbaud, thing that is against the possible values of "Configuration Register_Baud Rate" but is lower than the maximum SPI CLok Frequency (page 22 of the datasheet). Could be this the reason for no radiation? The TPIC do response the codes I send to it, so I think this point is not the cause for not data signal in Out 1..

After sending #Order2 we meassure 15.22 V of continuos signal level at port Out 1.
But after #Order5 I can't see the data modulated at Out1.
I use for checking Osciloscope connected to Out 1 (which is open without antenna), 100 us/div, 5 Megasamples and Trigger on probe of 15.5 V
Is anything I'm missing?
