AFE4490: Connecting different microcontroller to AFE4490 on AFE44x0SPO2EVM

Hi,

We have removed all resistors required to connect AFE4490 evaluation board to another host microcontroller. We have also pulled AFE_PDN and RESET pin high and followed AFE initialization sequence in firmware . Still ADC_RDY is not toggling indicating conversion complete.

Finger probe LED is not blinking

Kindly help !!!

Hi Manasa,

I think you could have one or combination of following issues.
1) SPI write or read is not happening. To verify this please check MCU's codes and write a register with known value and read it back.
2) Not all required registers are written. Real all the register to verify this ( except register 0).
3) Clock to AFE is missing. Probe the clock pin.
