AFE5809: AFE5809 power consumption

I am designing a power section for the various boards I have, which include AFE5809 (rev1) . I would like to know the maximum current that the AFE5809 board would take up in any conditions. Thankyou

Regarding the maximum current, refer to the power dissipation section of the electrical specification table (page 15 and 16) in the AFE5809 datasheet for your use case.

Yes this is applicable to the AFE5809 device in the AFE5809EVM.

thank you for your support. What I actually wanted to know was, How much current does the whole AFE5809EVM board requires as such.

Hi,

Even i am working on AFE5809EVM and even after giving +5V and -5V AFE5809EVM is not getting powered up due to voltage drop. Did u find the maximum current the board requires. Let me know about that too.

Judson and Shyam,

On power up and after configuration, the AFE5809 EVM consumes about 1.1A current on the 5V supply.

While powering up the board from the external supply, ensure that there is no current starvation from the 5V and -5V power supplies.
2A of current capacity is sufficient.

Hi

If we supply any input to channels J1 to J8,how will it be reflected to our LVDS output P10 connector?
Also what's the maximum voltage of signals we can supply to these input channels J1 to J8
