AFE5809EVM: Powering up AFE5809EVM

I am powering up the AFE5809EVM by supplying +5V & -5V to the JP6 connector but the voltage drop automatically occurs and the module is not getting powered up.

What can be the possible solution for it. Also what is the max. current rating for this module?

Hi Shyam,

Please ensure that there is no current starvation from the 5V and -5V power supplies.
2A of current capacity is sufficient.

Hi

If we supply any input to channels J1 to J8,how will it be reflected to our LVDS output P10 connector?
Also what's the maximum voltage of signals we can supply to these input channels J1 to J8

Hi Shyam,

In the AFE5809 datasheet, refer to the max linear input voltage from the Electrical characteristics table (section 7.5) for the maximum voltage of signals on the input channels.

Please refer to figure 1 to understand the relationship between the input clock frequency (Fclkin) and the LVDS clock frequency.
