hello:  our customer has the follwoing inquiry:  EAU is 5k

>>>>

I need to know if TPIC70600 is exactly compatible with DRV8809 or DVR8810.

1. )  On old datasheet for TPIC70600 pin 48 was a No Connect.   The newer datasheet and the DRV datasheet shows this as GND.  What is the difference between DRV8809 and DRV8810?

2. ) Can we use either/or as a replacement for the TPIC70600?

    Hi George,

DRV8810 is 100% TPIC70600 and DRV8809 is 100% TPIC70601. The difference between these two devices (DRV8809 and DRV8810) is on a starting time with one of the regulators as detailed on the datasheet.

Pin 48 should be GND. Not certain which datasheet release the customer is looking at, but the ones I have back from the old days, have pin 48 grounded.

    Best regards,

    Jose Quinones
