How to open .out file?

Hey,

I would like to open the DRV8412GUIv9.out file, so I can see what kind of code is flashed on the control card. And everywhere it says that this is just a text file and to open it with notepad or editor, but when I do it, it's just random signs, numbers and letters so I would like to know, if there is another way to look into this file.

You are not going to get very much useful information from the .out file; I suggest browsing the source code found in \ti\controlSUITE\development_kits in the folders "2xDC_Motor" and "Stepper".
