I am in the process of building a simple Motor Driver and Control model using Matlab/Simulink for driving both PMSM and ACIM motors. This model will mostly be used to optimize the power components (evaluating component voltages and current stresses).
My notes from TI's Industrial Control Workshop are not complete enough to help me design the PI controllers for speed and torque control.
1) I would appreciate any assistance regarding the guidelines for determining the optimum gains (Kp & Ki) for the Parallel PI Controllers given basic motor parameters.
2) Are there already Simulink models available?
