Can you check what phase is startup phase of DRV11873?

W or V or U? or It depends on other factor like motor location?

Chloe,

I tested start-up in the EVM. Based on this, in starting Phase V goes high 100%, phase U goes low and phase W remains open so V and U are start-up phase not W.

Start-up does not depend on rotor magnet location.

We are facing line faliures for Mass production.
And this question is also one of check points for finding root cause.
Can you share some waveformes that you said on your reply above?
Please indicate what waves are U, V, W each.Thank you.

Find attached start-up waveform from DRV11873, with experiment done using DRV11873 EVM.
