DRV8828 / single H-Bridge motor driver

Hi Team,

I understood DRV8828 is single H-Bridge motor driver (capable of 3A output current).
Is there any dual H-Bridge stepper driver that is capable of driving up to 3A?

I would also like to know why DRV8828 is single H-Bridge.
It seems other vendor has dual H-Bridge stepper driver that is capable of driving up to 3A.

Hi Yaita,

We have DRV8412 is able to drive two H bridge up to 3.5A. Our DRV8x dual H bridges device only reach to 2.5A such as DRV8813/DRV8825. We need to handle the heat with that package and the cost effective RDSON level.

My customer considers to use BD63730EFV.

The driver needs 3A continuous current for his system.
Is alternative for the device "DRV8828(half driver) x 2" ?
