DRV8305 full system setup

I'm a new user of TI evaluation kits and would like to know what hardware/software I'll need for a full 3phase motor drive evaluation using the new

BoostXM-DRV8305EVM product. Also, I see others asking when it will be available for purchase. I thought sometime this week.

Hi John,

To spin a motor with the 8305 BoosterPack you will need...

1x BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM (Power Stage)

1x LAUNCHXL-F28027F (Controller)

Your own motor

Your own power supply (the kit supports 4.4 to 45V)

MotorWare (Software Suite, contains the motor control firmware/software, Rev_15 will release Friday 8/4 with support for the 8305 BoosterPack)

The kit will officially release on Friday (9/4). It should be orderable then. I will check on the status of this.

I've been checking all day and don't see the DRV8305EVM in TI Store. Has that been delayed?

Sorry for the hassle. It looks like something got snagged up with the holiday. I am trying to get a new date and will report back.

and MotorWare version 15 - with support for DRV8305 - will be on the web tomorrow morning, USA time.

I've checked the "Alert me" button and will check for Ver15 tomorrow morning along with DRV8305evm. Thanks for the update.
