DRV8837 / Input logic low current

This +/-5uA is the current leakage of the input pin in normal mode when external driving voltage is zero. But in SLEEP mode, this leakage should be also controlled. So the input internally is almost a 100k pull down resistor.

Does it mean that the input current is very low than ±5uA actually?

Hi Kuramochi,

It will depend on the external inputs condition. For the 100k pull downs are alway there, if in SLEEP state, the external inputs have a 0.5V voltage, that means 0.5/100k = 5uA. This is not DRV8837 pulled from its VM, but it is a system leakage in SLEEP mode. But if we can make sure the external MCU zero output or HiZ, the leakage will be removed.

I'm recognizing that Input logic low current can be ±5uA at VIN=0V on sleep mode because the ±5uA is guaranteed value.
Is it correct?

And could you tell me the typical value input logic low current on sleep mode?
