DRV8823: How to convert relative current to digital form

Hi Team,

I'm working on DRV8823, While I was reading data sheet I was confused how to convert digital bits to relative current.

Please provide the formula how to convert xI2,xI1,xI0 to Relative current (%).

Hi Rajesh,

Please note the chopping current formula in the datasheet (Section 7.4.2). Once this value is determined, xI2, xI1, and xI0 regulate the current to the percentage listed in table 2.

I am using a stepper motor interface with DRV8823.

To rotate 360 degrees, what values should I place in the register Motor 1 command.

Please do needful.
