DRV10975: DRV10975 SPEED CONTROL ISSUES

Dear  TI Guys:
   
      I use drv10975 for Air-condition Drain pump. Motor parameters as follow:
1. rated voltage:12v
2. rated current:0.4A ; Peak current:1A
3. Max speed; 4500rpm(no-load)   3000rpm(load)
4. Phase Resistance: 5.17 ohm
5.Kt = 43~54mV/HZ;
6. #polo= 8  
     

I use Drv10975evm to drive the motor, it can spin  but the speed only 300 rpm, i can't the improve the turn speed. and the Peak current can reach 2A (Too high)
Turn the pot to max value, test speed pin value is 3.2V. the speed also 300 rpm.
there maybe sth wrong in the parameter setting, can you help me?

    Please reference turning guide as link http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slou395 for how to set some parameters which are needs for your application if you have not gotten a chance to reference to. Please feel free to let us know if you have more questions.

    By the way, the phase resistance you list here is phase to phase ore phase to com?

    Dear janet:

    the phase resistance is refer to  phase to com. and now the motor can spit, the speed from 0 to 3190 rpm.but there is still 2 question.

    1. the VCC curretn is about 2-3A, the period from the start to the end of open-loop cycle, it last 6-7 Seconds. (the 4th ). I adjust the parameter  Baisc->Startup Setting-> open loop current and current limit,
    it seems don't work.

    2. i turn the pot to the max and see the maximum motor speed is  about 3190rpm. But it should be 3600rpm and i check the waveform .
    the waveform shows the pwm will not reach the maximum.  i was a liitle confused how to set the parameters .

    Comments on question 1:

    Can you measure phase current and provide waveform. Do you see reduction in phase voltage ?

    Comments on question 2:

    Can you increase acceleration current limit, what does speed command and speed command show on display page. Can you tune T control advance time and check whether speed increase.
