Hi James,
Yes there is. the minimum duty cycle will depend on your input PWM frequency as you need to account for the delay time stipulated on the datasheet under switching characteristics.

Hi Luis, additional stepper motor driver questions

Are there instances where fast and slow decay is not and issue and do not need to be manage?

What impact does inductance, step rate and micro stepping have on decay?
