DRV8308: work with 8V VM power supply

Hi, Team

My customer is testing DRV8308 in their smart antenna products. The norminal system power input is 12V. Customer use TPS54360 to convert to 9V. The system power input may drop to 9V in some case, so the power supply VM to DRV8308 may drop to 8V. So cutomer want to set TPS54360 output to 8V for system stability.

Customer has tested in their system that DRV8308 can work in 8V VM.

Could you confirm whether DRV8308 can work in 8V VM? Is there any risk?
