DRV8305-Q1: capacitor of CP1H-L and CP2H-L

I have a simple question.

On the datasheet, the capacitor of CP1 and CP2 is recommended 0.047uF.

However what is concerned if the capacitor is much larger than 0.047uF?

We understand the capacitor should be the recommend value as it is mentioned on the datasheet.

On other hand, the customer is concerned that case as one of failure mode.

Hi Hamamoto-san,

Increasing the size of the CP1H-L and CP2H-L capacitors can increase the positive ripple on the VCP voltage. It can also create additional power losses due to higher inrush currents when charging the capacitor.

What failure mode is the customer concerned with?
