DRV10970: Timing Chart When Reversing Rotation Of Motor Using FR Pin

Hi,

Could you please provide the timing chart including tLOCK_EX when reversing rotation of the motor using the FR pin to me ?
The objective is to figure out the time until the motor starts reverse rotation.

Hey Kato,

I can draft something up but to answer your question as soon as the FR pin changes logic level, the driver will wait t_LOCK_EX for the motor coast to a stop, then they motor will either automatically drive (if using 3 hall sensors) or go through the align phase and then spin up (if using one hall sensor).

So that would mean it would take t_LOCK_EX for the motor to reverse rotation. There's a t_LOCK_EX equation in the datasheet based on the capacitor on the Retry pin. I'll copy and paste it below:
