    TI provides reference designs and EVM eval kits for solar applications.
    Here is a good one to review.

    Complete software source code, hardware design files and detailed documentation allow designers to see and understand exactly how the design was implemented, creating the foundation to begin their own unique solar power implementations.

    Examples of solar inverter designs are also in ControlSuite, software tool, in the Projects area.

    Also from TI's Smart grid infrastructure landing page you will find a section on Solar Energy.

    All of these use the C2000 line of MCU's.

    Further support may be found on the C2000 E2E forum, or the E2E Forum of the device or tool in question.

    This will greatly assist getting up and running on a solar inverter design.
