RTOS: TI-RTOS SYS BIOS

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

I see various references to TI-RTOS, SYS/BIOS and BIOS.

Is there an explanation as to why I see these various references?   I was under the impression they all essentially mean the TI-RTOS.

I think some of it is historical but I a clear explanation as to the meaning of each term would be helpful.
