Part Number: TIDA-00817
Dear all,
Yesterday I learned that the two persons involved in the development of this board are not available anymore. So I would like to ask you: does anybody know, what hardware I really need to start with the TIDA-00817? In detail:
1. Does the TIDA-00817 come with the TMS570 LaunchPad?
2. And where do I get the interface with isolators mentioned in the reference design (figure on page 1) tidubz7.pdf to protect my PC?
3. Are there any helpful remarks on experiences regarding use of the demo software (GUI, LaunchPad firmware)?
And finally:
4. As far as I could understand the documentation the battery currents are not limited to the current limit (5A) of the active balancer, right? Of course the protection circtuitry will switch off the battery [de-]charging current if the balancer cannot compensate for the state of the limiting cell...
